Ethiopia Project
Genale Dawa III hydropower dam is located in Ethiopia and is built on Genale River. The project was launched six years ago. It is 110 meters high and 426 meters long and has the capacity to hold 2.57 billion cubic meters of water and generate 254MW.
The project has reached at 91 percent completion and the construction of spillway, powerhouse, 12.4 km tunnel and other related works have been completed.
